What is included in a standard lawn maintenance visit?
Every standard maintenance visit includes a complete, professional mowing of all turf areas and string trimming/ edging around fences, garden beds, trees, driveways, walkways, and patio borders. Before leaving, our crew uses high-powered blowers to clear all grass clippings and debris off your hardscapes, leaving your property clean.
At what height do you cut the grass, and why does it matter?
We prefer to maintain a higher cut height—typically between 3 to 4 inches depending on the grass variety and seasonal temperatures. Cutting grass at the proper height protects the root system from heat stress, prevents moisture loss in the soil, and creates a dense turf canopy that naturally shades out weed seeds before they can take root.
Do you offer weekly or bi-weekly lawn maintenance?
We offer both weekly and bi-weekly service schedules, though we strongly encourage weekly care to maintain optimal turf health. Regular weekly cuts prevent grass stress, promote thicker growth, and allow our crew to keep close eyes on your property to spot early signs of weeds, pests, or disease before they become costly problems.
To maintain route quality, we limit bi-weekly openings each season and stop accepting bi-weekly properties once schedule capacity is reached. Please note that bi-weekly visits carry a higher per-service rate; cutting double the growth requires more time, specialized equipment handling, and extra labor to deliver a clean finish. However, for our weekly maintenance clients, we offer the flexibility to temporarily adjust to a bi-weekly schedule during peak summer heat and drought (July and August) when growth naturally slows down.
What happens to my scheduled service when it rains?
Our team monitors local weather conditions constantly. In the case of light rain, our crews will continue working as long as it is safe and will not cause turf damage or soil compaction. If heavy downpours or thunderstorms delay service, your property will be rescheduled for the very next clear operational day to keep your lawn on track for the week. We also will work on weekends if we fell between during the week due to weather.
Can I bundle multiple services together?
Yes! In fact, we highly prefer bundling services like routine lawn maintenance with custom fertilization, weed control, core aeration, or seasonal cleanups.
