Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about our Lawn Services? If your answer isn't below please feel free to contact us.
Do you offer fixed seasonal contracts, or do you bill on a per-push / per-visit basis?
We offer three flexible options so you can choose the billing structure that best fits your budget and expectations:
Seasonal Contracts: A flat, predictable rate spread across the winter months, offering complete budget certainty regardless of how many times it snows. Seasonal contract clients receive top priority on our routes during every snow event.
Hybrid Plans: A balanced middle ground where you pay a reduced, fixed base monthly fee alongside a smaller discounted fee for each individual service visit. Hybrid clients are also treated as priority accounts on our routes, ensuring prompt clearing during active snowfall.
Per-Push / Per-Visit Billing: You are billed a set rate only when a snowfall meets our service trigger and our team clears your property. While cost-effective for lighter winters, per-push services are non-priority and are completed after our priority contract and hybrid routes have been fully cleared.
Is ice melt/salting service included with snow clearing, or is it an extra charge?
De-icing and salting services are billed as an optional add-on to your snow clearing agreement. When you set up your plan, we review your property’s layout and safety needs so salting rates can be calculated and included right in your initial agreement.
Please note that due to widespread salt supply shortages and market fluctuations in recent years, de-icing material costs are subject to adjustment throughout the winter season based on current supplier pricing. If market costs shift, we maintain full transparency with our clients before any pricing updates take effect.
Do you offer snow clearing for commercial parking lots, or do you focus strictly on residential properties?
We service both residential driveways and select commercial properties! To maintain fast, reliable response times when winter storms hit, we carefully select properties based on location, size, and layout.
Keeping our snow routes tightly packed within key service areas allows our crews to complete clearings faster, revisit properties during heavy storms, and guarantee prompt service for our priority contract and hybrid clients. During your winter consultation, we’ll evaluate your property’s size, access, and location to ensure it seamlessly fits into our active winter routes.
What is your snowfall accumulation threshold to trigger a service visit?
Our automated winter service triggers depend on weather conditions and total snow accumulation:
Under 2 Inches (Salting Trigger): For light snow, freezing rain, or icy conditions under 2 inches, we automatically dispatch our team for de-icing/salting visits (for clients enrolled in salting service) to eliminate hazardous, slippery surfaces.
2 Inches or More (Plowing & Shoveling Trigger): Once snowfall reaches or exceeds 2 inches, our crews are dispatched to clear snow from your designated driveways, lots, and walkways using plows, snowblowers, or shovels—followed by an application of salt or ice melt if you have subscribed to de-icing service.
How far in advance do I need to sign up for winter snow removal service?
We strongly recommend reaching out as early as September to inquire about availability for the upcoming winter season. Because high demand limits our capacity and we keep our service routes tightly packed to ensure fast, reliable response times during major storms, our route slots fill up quickly each fall.
Once our client roster reaches maximum capacity for a specific neighborhood, we close enrollment to ensure our existing priority clients receive prompt, dependable service every time it snows. Getting on our list early guarantees your spot before the first snowfall hits!
